The Power of the Internet
I did this assignment already last year in film so you said I didn't have to do it again.

Gottfried Helnwein Photo 2.0
This new viewpoint doesn't change my interpretation, it was what I interpreted only I thought it was a painting on the wall and not an actual photo that was printed out in a large scale. You can tell the the image was printed out in sections and then pieced together because you can see some of the seams and you can also see some wrinkles and folds from the material that the image was printed out on. The image is so big that it probably was really hard putting up so they probably couldn't help but get some wrinkles when trying to put it up. I think that this is a very urban image and that just normal people probably walk past it daily not thinking too much of it after seeing it so many times but I wouldn't be surprised if people from around the globe came to see this magnificent art instillation. The image is very cool toned and the girl's face is very blank but her eyes clearly steal the show, the meaning probably behind this is something sad or trying to get a point across of some sorts. I think the title "The Last Girl" suggests that she's the one who's made it through all of whatever and that is why her facial expression is what it is, she's probably seen some stuff.

What I think is going on here is that the girl is a painting on a big wall somewhere and the small guy is probably the artist and the contraption that he is hanging by is probably how he was able to paint so high up. I think this picture is both an artistic image and a documentary image. I don't believe that this image is photoshopped. I think the meaning of this photo is just to show an interesting perspective of reality and I think that was also the photographer's intent. This image just shows to me how there are just some things in life that are really rad and maybe they don't always need some deep meaning, they are just there to make us remember what a wicked world we live in. I think the difference in scale between the man and the girl's face makes it more clear on what the actual image is of.
